Selected design / across the years

Built to
be used.

Publications launched. Systems scaled. Information made useful.

A working archive of editorial, information, identity and applied design.
01

Publication launches + reinvention

Before the first issue, there was a blank page.

At the Log Cabin Democrat, I helped launch ICON, Homes and the Faulkner County Business Journal. I also redesigned Women’s Inc. and took over its ongoing production—building repeatable editorial systems, not one-off covers.

ICON

A new culture magazine for Conway, Arkansas—conceived and designed around music, food, style and the people shaping the city.

Women’s Inc.

A redesign followed by years of covers, profiles, fashion and service journalism, all held together by one adaptable visual language.

Business + community

A chamber business journal built from the ground up and an annual concierge guide that made Conway itself the subject.

02

Sunflower Foundation / Rural health

Make the case. Make it impossible to miss.

I designed this pitch packet through KHI to turn a complex rural-health model into a concise, persuasive story—moving from the problem to the people, the plan and the invitation to invest.

03

Information design

Dense data. Clear way in.

Charts, maps, models and public-facing explainers designed to give technical information hierarchy, momentum and a memorable point of entry.

04

Pathways to a Healthy Kansas

Twenty-three communities. One adaptable system.

For Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, through KHI, I designed a family of individualized community impact reports—and extended the story into large-format environmental graphics.

05

Dave & Buster’s / National rollout

One system. Every location.

For a national freelance assignment, I translated restaurant plans into a consistent family of customer-facing floor plans across the Dave & Buster’s network—precision work designed to disappear into the experience.

06

fyi-Jonesboro

The publication was mine. So were the ads.

I designed the advertising for the independent arts-and-entertainment magazine I owned and published in Jonesboro.

07

Creative direction + publication systems

Not one cover. The whole operation.

Publication systems and creative direction across St. Louis, Conway, Arkansas, and Topeka.

08

Identity design

A handful from the archive.

A small sampling from hundreds of editorial, health, event and small-business identities created across the years.

09

Applied design

Some canvases come with wheels.

Vinyl vehicle wraps designed for fleets, promotions and a raffle-prize horse trailer.

The throughline

Different client.
Different decade.
Same standards.
